Two very cool Beatles news I would like to share here, right now.
First, ‘ The only home where the Beatles lived together is for sale.’ This is the the fourth floor of a building in Green Street, Mayfair — now on the market for £1.75 million. This was rented by Brian Epstein as per request of ‘the boys’ so that they could have a little more privacy between recording session and TV appearance!
Second amazing news for every Beatles fan is that, The Beatles (I’m guessing with Yoko and Olivia’s permission) donated seven original lyrics on the Northwestern University Music Library.
Most of the Beatles lyrics or songs are from the Revolver Album, except for ‘The Word’ which was from the album before Revolver, Rubber Soul! The list of songs are:
Seeing the notepads and envelopes and the ink pens where these classic songs were written will most probably bring goosebumps on a big Beatle fan. Thinking of me seeing it closely makes me feel excited now. :)
Don’t even ask me how much this may cost!

Very cool – now if someone could find a way to hear sounds that occurred a long time ago they’d be set. I’m not sure i’d want to live in the place though, It wouldn’t feel like mine ya know?
This is what I love about the internet!
I was brought up in south Liverpool – love the Beatles –
:used to cycle past Strawberry Fields on the way to the park
:I worked in an accountants on Penny Lane
:Drive to work past the house where John Lennon was brought up by his auntie and…
:Had a girlfriend that lived on Madryn Street – Ringo was born at Number 9
Liverpool is currently being regenerated because of the 2008 City of Culture award.
Cheers and good luck,
John
Beatles fan would surely love to know this facts. It is an honor for the Northwestern University to be given the original copies of Beatles composition.
