While commuting to office this morning, the driver of the jeep to Washington street while in Ayala Manila Peninsula area, turn back and said that the road is closed.
Oh, it’s that time of the year again. Same as last year… It’s Makati City’s New Year’s Eve Parteeh!
So, trying to stay awake, I walked the remaining stretch of Ayala Avenue…

The stage was being setup in the corner of Ayala and Makati Avenue, just beside The Manila Penn and Makati Stock Exchange building (last year it was in Paseo De Roxas).
This annual countdown is sponsored by the city government, the Makati Festivals Foundation, Ayala Land, Makati Commercial Estate Association, ABS-CBN Foundation, San Miguel Corporation, Manila Bulletin, Business Mirror, Globe, RCBC, Metrobank and Kimberly Clark.
Many Pinoy Bands will be performing on the said events, including:
plus a 10-minute fireworks show and laser lights display.This year’s countdown is also a joint fund raising drive of the city government and the Sagip Kapamilya program of the ABS-CBN Foundation.
