Just a quick post and a small trivia for you guys.
What does St. Andrew the apostle and one of Philippines’ greatest Hero Andres Bonifacio have in common? Give up?
It’s November 30! (pretty late post huh?)
Anyway, one quick fact of trivia is that the feast of Saint Andrew is observed on November 30 in both the Eastern and Western churches and at the same time, Andrés Bonifacio y de Castro was born November 30, 1863.
Yesterday also (or two days ago), November 30, was Norzagaray (our town) fiesta!
Google Trends
I first learned about Google Trends on Marhgil Macuha’s mini SEO contest. Since then I’ve been visiting the trends site for the keywords that will be on my post.
Just like today. I checked out if people using Google is looking for keywords such as ‘St. Andres’ or ‘Saint Andrew’ or ‘San Andres’ and here is what I found out.
St. Andrew and Saint Andrew Keywords
Here’s the trends for the first two keywords I’ve checked…
Now, I don’t know how many that search volume is but according to the graph, the keywords has been searched over and over for the past 4 years.
But Wait!
San Andres Keyword
After checking the first two, I then entered my third set of keyword “San Andres” and surprisingly here’s what Google Trends showed:
At first, I thought “what happened to the first two?” then I saw the small lines almost touching the bass of the graph.
Cool. So “san andres” is way much searched for compared to the first ‘andres’ huh? Not really sure, but I think that’s it.
Please correct me if I’m mistaken.. ;)
Thanks!

I think the reason it has a higher search stat is it is a place, a tourism spot in Colombia, and not because of the saint. If you searched Google, the place shows up and not about the “saint” :) It’s a famous tourism spot, it seems.
so fiesta po pla sa inyo at d kayo nag imbita.lolz
Wow. Pretty good discovery Eli. And you’re right on your observation. The reason why the first two graphs were gone was because the san andres keyword is way more searched than the first two.
Thanks for sharing this info too Eli. Cheers :D
I’m actually using Google Trends for my other sites. Effective talaga! :)
Kumusta na kapitbahay?
Oh will this be another seo thing? haha ^_^
