gOS – Google Operating System?

What do you get if you combine Linux (an open source operating system) and Google applications? (Check out complete list of Google apps, sites and services) ??

Looks like Google wants it all! With the buzz of having a Google Phone (gPhone) and after buying feedburner, blogger and jaiku, Google applications will now also be integrated in a Linux Kernel-based Operating system called gOS.

From the developers’ own words, gOS is an “alternative OS with for the masses.”

You can download a Live CD ISO even though this project is still in ‘beta’ stage and under development.

Imagine an operating system with Gmail, Blogger, a search engine and a lot lot more!

   Holy moly. That looks soo cool Eli. I might really give this gOS a try. Google really does want to take over the world! Haha
