I guess our luck just ran out. After 9 months of operation Innerchild had finally met the virus that will make the server useless.
Before I left this morning, I knew that we’re in hot water. Last night, when one of the customer plugged in his USB drive, I know we got infected. There are these new folders with extension (.exe)… Being a folder, it is really tempting to click to find out what’s inside. And that’s probably what happened.
And now, when I got back, the timer/server of Innerchild keeps on rebooting.
Alright, I believe that once a computer is compromised, there’s no other solution but to redo everything. Repartition and reformat. Start from scratch.
That’s the price to pay for not having an updated virus definition…. (or not having an antivirus at all)…
This is going to be a very long night….

Try first to disinfect your computer through online scans… and start your back ups. If all else fails, buy a new one bwahaha
Thanks for the tip Allen, but every time I tried running housecall or any other online scanning.. the pc reboots…
Now im currently scanning the infected disk as a slave (or through network) and found out that bronkol worm is in there..
trying to clean it now.. kung ayaw.. bye bye..:)
bad news yan… sakit sa ulo! isang pc pa nga lang masakit na sa ulo pano pag kumalat pa sa network nyo yan!
you should scan the pc para malaman kung ano tumamang virus sa pc nyo… kung di kaya ng AV nyo… marami namang support sa internet and forums na pwede mo tingnan para sa instructions on how to remove the virus… pag di talaga kinaya… reformat na…
Darn virus.I just reformatted my machine last week. And guess what, it’s because of this virus that automatically disables my firewall every time I boot up. =(
I know what you mean Louis… My computer keeps on restarting every time i tried running an antivirus program..
