Marimar is Back on Philippine Television!
The Thalia mania started in the Philippines some time around 1996 when RPN 9 first aired the Mexican Telenovela, Marimar. Filipinos loved Mari Mar! Every boy, girl, women and specially men anticipated each episode till the show ended.
I remember those days. I used to hurry from school just to catch a glimpse of what’s going to happen next to Marimar’s (almost Filipino) life. I remember her beautiful face, her innocent eyes, her captivating smile. Sexy, for me, is not even enough to describe Thalia .
Now after more that a decade, Marimar will be returning to Filipinos homes but a little different. Though it’s still in tagalog, but this time not only will it have more Pinoy flavor but this will be a Filipino production casted by Filipino celebrities.
Marimar will start airing on August 13 starring Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes on GMA Telebabad. I saw GMA 7’s special feature on the show prior to its premier Monday. Saw it on the bus on my way to work (ahh, the joy of commuting).

I Love You Thalia! Iba ka pa rin. Iba pa rin ang orihinal. Wala kang katulad. Gusto ko pa rin ng panganay sa yo.. hehehe (Hi Neyko! :)

kami rin nun lahat sa bahay eh baliw na baliw sa telenovelang yan. hay si marimar! kinaiinggitan ng mga kababaihan, pinagpapantasyahan ng mga kalalakihan. :lol:

wala pa kaming tv nun time na pinapalabas ang marimar sa pinas.. pero tama, lokong-lokong ang mga pinoy sa bawat episodes nito :)
