What does Mel Gibson, Robbin Williams, Sylvester Stallone and Leonardo de Carpio have in common besides good looking dudes like me? :-) They all have movies shot in Thailand! Bangkok to be precise!

Bangkok, also known as Krung Thep Maha Nakhon, is the largest city in Thailand and with that, it is the 22nd most populated city in the world! That big population is probably made of up city locals and tourists.

In Asia, Bangkok is one of the most popular tourist destination (Manila too of course). Proof of this is the fully booked Bangkok Hotels, most of them tourists.

If I would go there (I would be the tourist) the first thing that I would check out are the temples. I would go where they house the Emerald Buddha. Not sure if it’s in Chakri Mahaprasat Hall or Wat Phra Kaew but it’s definitely known as the most important temple in Thailand.

Grand Palace. Of course, I would go there too! The Malacañang of Thailand. It is also one of the destination for tourist.
