Life Insurance… A company’s must have benefit

I’ve been working for 7 years now and all of the companies that I’ve worked for in the past always has this Life Insurance Policies as one of their benefits for their employees.

Now, for the past few years, I haven’t really felt that particular benefit (thank God!). No, what I mean is I never really have thought about it thoroughly. The system and the benefits my beneficiaries will get.

Life insurance means that if something ever happens to the Policy Owner (the one who is insured) a sum of money will be give to his love ones (beneficiaries). But of course the Policy Owner must agree to pay the insurer a certain amount called a Premium.

One have to know though to get the Life Insurance Policies only covers certain events and not all incidents are covered by it.

For example, disability if not covered either caused by sickness or something else. Illness is not also covered on the plan. The easiest way to remember if it is covered or not if the person is alive it is not covered. Yes, only if the person insured is dead, either accidental death or of natural causes.

This is normally offered to a permanent status employee. If you’re unemployed you could go directly to an insurance company like the Florida life insurance.
