For the past days now, I’ve been talking about my brother who’ll be staying in New York, and if that happens I’ll have Lois or Nanay do the cosmetic surgery thing, and how I’ll have hair transplant in New Jersey (no I will not!)…

That’s why I told Nelson to hurry up and petition Mom and Dad. After that, the brothers and sisters are next (that would be us)…

Then I thought… I don’t want to grow old there. Because you know, I’ve heard that old people are thrown in some house for grandmas and grandpas…

We’ll not actually dump in some home for the aged shelter, but the truth of the matter is, that is there. That’s one of the American’s way of living. It’s happening.

But I still believe that filipino values are strong. I believe, no. I know that Filipino families living there are not like that. Kahit matanda na siguro mga parents natin, I know that they will be cared for by their sons and daughters. (please no offense to those who do this)
Probably that’s why there are website that looks for the perfect nursing homes for their parents. A place where they will be treated special and family. A place such as the Phila nursing homes.

I’m guessing for those to care for their parents to have them placed in such institutions are those who have a very important careers. Still they do everything they can for their family…
