rmammdb05

first complain was filer mount not accessible.. turns out network connection to that server has problem.

Tried connecting to console of rmammdb05. Checked cpu and memory usage, all is ok.
Checked running process – all seems normal except for some number of netsaint process. verified with Jeremy and he says it ok.

Johnny found out that pinging the ip of the console (ie rmammdb002-console) does not experience any timeout while pinging rmammdb002 alone results in an intermittent network connection.

pulled in network guys and found out that the cause was a defective (or some other word) switch port.
