Potassium Problem
Happy Valentine’s Day to all! Apparently, this would be my February 14 post, completely irrelevant to the occasion! :)
For the past 3 days (or more, I lost count), I have trouble getting out of bed. You may think it’s just laziness, well I am lazy but not in this case… I usually wake up 3:30am (”what?!” you may say, but yeah, sometimes it 3:00am!), enough time to prepare myself to go to work. The problem is, as I’ve said, I can’t get out of bed. I feel so week. My legs and arms are week and aches whenever I try to push myself up.
I have a very strong feeling what that is… You might remember my post about hyperthyroidism. There I mentioned about my potassium problem, well this is it, same symptoms.
Picking up the ‘tabo‘ is a pain, wearing pants hurts, getting off the jeep/bus is a pain! syet!
It’s probably not hyperthyroidism, but there is something definitely wrong with me. Potassium deficiency. According to google — “The normal functioning of our bodies depends on the tight regulation of potassium concentrations both inside and outside of cells” and hypokalemia is the disease.
Scheduled appointed to my Doctor is on the first week of March, but I couldn’t wait that long. I was suppose to take the T3/T4/TSH test prior to the checkup. Sent her an SMS and asked her if I could include the P test. She said sure.
So that’s it, I’ll be seeing her by the end of the month. In the meantime, I’ll just engorgedeverything with potassium. :)
