Mascara 101 for Dummies
People sometimes do not wear make up for two known reasons: one, they just don't want to and two, they want to but they do not know how. So let's give those who don't know a simple tutorial.
Because they eyes are usually the first thing people look at, let's talk about how to properly apply a mascara. Just follow these simple steps:
1. Left-to-right. When applying mascara, remember to wiggle the want from let to right at the base of the lashes. You would want the mascara to reach the roots of your lashes that is why you have to wiggle the wand when applying. Mascara placed on the roots gives the illusion of longer lashes.
2. Pull up. While wiggling separates the lashes, you have to follow through by pulling the wand up as you wiggle. This ensure that each lash is applied with mascara.
3. Remove clumps. The final step to having a proper mascara is to remove the clumps. Do this by closing the eyes and placing the mascara wand on top of your lashes. Then, at the base, pull through to remove any clumps.
So there you go! Try it. If you do not get it the first time, don't worry. Sometimes things need a little practice.
