Maroon 5’s New Album “It Won’t Be Soon Before Long”
I hate it.
Pardon the directness but that’s the first thing I said when I heard the new single for the first time (Makes Me Wonder) From Yutube
Their first album, Songs for Jane (2003), is one of my favorite albums. I love most, if not all of the songs in there. The music was loud and soothing at the same time. All the song complemented the theme of the album. It’s jut brilliant.This sophomore album, however, in my personal comment is not as good as the first one. With It Won’t Be Soon Before Long ’s first single (Makes Me Wonder) sounds a little more disco that pop rock. Of course I wont be sure if all of the songs in the album are all like that, but still… I want the Maroon 5 with hard drumming as in Harder to Breath, cool guiter riff in Shiver (you should see Adam do the solo in the Live version here). I love all the songs in that album… Shiver, The Sun, Tangle, Sunday Morning, This Love… all of it!See it for yourself.. here the video of Harder to Breath and for the Live version of Shiver. Judge for yourself… Though they look much cooler now.. ;-)
I still prefer pinoy bands :-)

of all the songs they made, i only dig Harder to Breathe..
most of the songs are kinda commercial, too preppy..

Well actually, marami sa mga kaibigan ko ang nagustuhan ‘yang album na ‘yan. Ako ewan. Weirdo kasi ang mga musical choices ko e.
