Goodby iPhone, Hello GPhone!
Though GPhone is not the official name, but rumors are flying everywhere on the internet that Google could be getting into the cellphone biz.
According to Wall Street Journal, that big search company that has made billions of dollars in Web advertising, will extend all it’s services in a mobile phone. Google is talking to all wireless operators, cellphone manufacturers (report say it could be LG Electronics in South Korea) and software developers in bringing this vision into a reality.
There is already a prototype of this Google phone and those who had seen it says it’s not comparable to the iPhone but it is more like a sliding keyboard Nokia phone.
This is going to be one super phone! Why you say? Coz it’s free!
Oh yes baby!
Google will also be giving free subscriptions to consumers by bundling ads with its search engine, Web browser apps and Gmail. I wonder if Smart and Globe will agree.
