Supernatural Season 1 and Season 2 Story Plots

August 13th, 2007 by Elizar

..Saving people, hunting things. Family Business..

Supernatural Season 1 and season 2 plots? I don’t even know what Plot is! LOL!Anyway, 1:30am, I just finished Supernatural’s last episode of Season 2! Nice season ender! Walang pambitin, pero nice pa rin! Later check ko kung kelan ang premier ng season 3. I think anyone who watched the show knows or have an idea what season 3 will be - hunting demons still!Season one is about finding their father after he didn’t come during a hunt. Season one is also about hunting for the demon who killed their mother and the same time killing every evil and demons along the way.Season two continues what season one has left hanging - all of them squashed by a huge truck (I’m sure there are tons of truck accessories included too)! It was still about finding the demon that killed their mother and Sam’s girlfriend, Jessica. And of course, after Dean’s recovery, it is still hunting demons and kicking their asses!

Supernatural is like the modern day contemporary Ghost Busters! Very cool! Sam and Dean are the best brothers!

The New Hobby… Photography

August 2nd, 2007 by Elizar

There’s this new hype in the office for the past few weeks. Nikon, Canon and other nice looking digital cameras. Our Directory has one, one of our manager has another, even one of my shift mates have one too! Hmmm.. maybe I should get one of those digital LSRs, like a Canon Powershot

We actually have a simple one. A simple 6MB digital camera from Canon. We really enjoy using it. We use it in every family occasion or even just for the fun of it. It’s convenient and does the job. Here’s one cool shot of me and Matthew eating our breakfast in bed. :-)

Film degrades. Photo frames fades but digital photography really preserves the moment and keep it for the longest time! If I would upgrade our little digital camera. I would get the picture above - A Nikon D40 Digital SLR.

Link Assignments Technique

August 1st, 2007 by Elizar

I’ve you’ve been monetizing your blogs for some time now, I’m sure you’ve been doing some link assignments from Payu2blog, BlogToProfit and other related programs. If not, well I guess it’s just me then. :-)

More Background…

Anyway, BlogToProfit (BTP) usually send out 10 links to it’s members to be completed, preferably in a week. For each completed link, BTP will pay you Php200. So that’s Php1200 for all assignment plus a bonus of Php 300 if you completed within the week. If you could finish it, well that’s still P1200 for you.

PayU2Blog on the other hand offers you assignments on their website so you better sign in regularly to check. Unlike BlogToProfit, their number of link assignments varies from 3 to 30, depending on their advertisers. For each completed link assignment, you’ll be paid $5.

So what’s the technique?

Die Hard 4.0 Baby! at SM Cinema

July 6th, 2007 by Elizar

I almost got disappointed watching this movie. I thought I will not be able to hear the ‘yeepee-kay-yay mother….’ line, and that it’s all marketing stuff but in the end I got my money’s worth. :-)

Die Hard 4.0 is a blast!

I entered the cinema around 1:30pm. The movie will start, apparently at 1:45pm. I kind of lost track of time once I was inside. After the big 20th Century 3D opening and some opening credits, all you have to do is wait 5 minutes and then action starts till the end! Yeepee-kay-yay!!

I tell you, it’s all action from start to finish!

Money and Wealth

June 30th, 2007 by Elizar

Last June 20, I bought a book about Money, the one written by Mr. Francisco Colayco. It’s his 2nd book or a sequel from his first one - Pera Mo Palaguin Mo! - also known as ‘Wealth’.

My office mate had that book and I told him I saw another book just like that, which is the ‘book 2: Money’ (Pera mo palaguin mo 2). Told him I’ll buy the second hand then we can exchange after we finished reading our own. He agreed, hence my new book.

The book was very easy to read. May mga tagalog translation kasi, hehehe. It’s actually so enjoyable, I finished it in 2 days… or should I say 2 commute days.

Book 2 talks about how to invest your money. Those hard earned money that you saved. Like I said book 2 is the sequel since book 1 talks about how to save money (or so my office mate said).
Book 2 talks about passive income, passive entrepreneurship. It talks about bonds and funds and bank certificates and all other stuff. With continuous flow of passive income, you could probably afford a Condo Hotels. And just like Robert Kiyosaki’sRich Dad, Poor Dad‘, it also mentioned investments in real estate. Since I mentioned real estate, beaufort nc real estate is also a good choice!
Right now, I’m somewhere in the middle of book 1. Will let you know how it end up. :-) But, I tell you, it’s a real good good book!

Top 10 24 Lines

June 28th, 2007 by Elizar

I just finished watching Season 6 of 24! Breath taking action the whole season! Just like the first 5 season.

Will also try to make a post on my pathetic attempt to review it in my pathetic review blog. :-)

I want to put here the most common 24 dialogue lines from Season 6 or probably from season 1 to season 6.

10. Clear to engage

9. We got you covered!

8. You don’t know Jack.

7. Secure/set up the perimeter

6. That’s not in the protocol

5. Transfer it to my screen

4. Download it to my PDA

3. Reposition satellite

2. Copy that / move in

1. “Bauer” - (Jack answering the phone)

If you don’t agree, well post your favorite 24 one liner. :-)

I’m A Rich Man! (a little)

June 15th, 2007 by Elizar

When my first post for Smorty was approved, I was delighted that I will be paid! But apparently, there was complication with PayPal and the Philippines.

Every single day, I’ve been checking my Smorty account if they’ve already sent my payments (for the 4th time). And finally today, I was able to received it! Through PayPal!

How did I do it? The idea was given to me by Sasha. I told her that my Smorty payments are bouncing and when I told paypal about it, they said that paypal service (at least receiving money) to the Philippines is not (yet) allowed.

Anyway, Kapitbahay (sasha) suggested that if I know someone from the States (or anywhere as long as Paypal is accepted) I should ask them a favor and received the payment from their paypal account. I was thinking of my counterpart in Minneapolis or in Australia, but instead I asked my college bud who is in Singapore. He agreed and.. viola!

‘Heroes’ Keeps Getting Better and Better and Better

May 16th, 2007 by Elizar

This morning I watched the latest episode of Heroes (which I started downloading last night… shhhhh, it’s a secret). The fre@ki#!ng show keeps getting better and better!

Heroes TV Series Character

As Season 1 near its end, I can’t help but think what’s going to happened next. Will the future that Hiro Nakamura saw (and experienced) come true? Or will he (and the rest of the ‘heroes’ stop it from happening!

Episode 22 (entitled ‘Landslide) almost builds the climax of the whole season. The story building from the first episode up to here are perfect! All the characters are properly introduced and little by little showed the relationship with each other. Now, all of them (well, most of the good guys) now have the same goals. To stop that ever suave and Skagen watches-wearing Syler… To stop the (nuclear) bomb from exploding!

I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Lost

April 13th, 2007 by Elizar

ABC.com Lost: LOST Wednesdays 10/9 central….

I should have a separate blog for all these shows.. just like Tina’s Books..:)

Kaya lang wag na, nakakatamad.. hehehe, may Stephen King blog na ako eh.. :)

Just finished watching the latest episode of LOST (which was aired sa US Wednesday)… Episode 15 was not that good, but this one is!

Finally nakauwi na sila Jack at Kate with Julia (one of the others).. Kung follower ka ng show, maraming tanong or maraming revelations ang binigay. Buhay ni Julia, mga links sa previous episodes… Ganda, ganda! .. :)

Alam nyo ba, one of the reason that I like LOST, is that first time I ever saw it.. nung nakikita kita ko na ung style nung show.. I saw/feel a little something Stephen King flavor… And I was right! Around 2nd or third season, dami na clues na may influence nga ni Mr. King ung show.. ;)

Here’s a screen shot.. (original airplay was opening of Season 2 yata or season 3.. tapos pinakita ulit sa episode na to.. galing nga eh.. that long sa story, may conection parin.. King na king.. hehehe)
