nalulungkot ako di dahil sa ako pinag reply ni Rachel sa email ni Bezella, tungkol sa enhancement ng Skypage namin, ayun ako tuloy ang primaring gagawa..pero para saming lahat naman un…;) … or nalulungkot ako di dahil sa kailangan kong i-replicate ung server para ma-test ung feature na pinapagawa ni Andy… Di rin dahil ung EPCI na nagfollow-up kay Rachel eh, ifo-follow-up ko rin (oooppps, di ko na followup.. nyayayaya!!) Di rin ako nalulungkot dahil may request sa ‘kin ung isang developer sa server nila…

Malungkot ako, dahil nakikinig ako ngayon ng Ultraelectromageneticpop, and unang CD ng Eraserheads..

Ang galing ni Ely sa pagkanta nya dun… ‘Tindahan ni aling nena parang isang kwentong pampelikula ha…’… Wala namang debata na di sya ganon kahusay kumanta pero yung orihinal na kalidad ng boses nya… iba eh.. may distinction, ika nga… saka iba ang dating nya sa mga masang people eh..

Ngayon, when I see Ely.. ngayon pala, pag nakikita ko si Ely sa tapat, iniisip ko sayang talaga ang grupo nila… Minsan nakausap ko si Raymond (Marasigan) sa isang mall tour ng Sandwich, tinanong ko sa kanya kung magkakabalikan pa ba ang e’head.. sabi nya, ‘oo’.. tapos bigla syang tumawa… “di na pare, wala na un”.. kakalungkot talaga..

Bakit nga ba natibag ang grupong e’heads? Meron din bang Yoko Ono na nakapaligid sa kanila.. Or meron din bang miyembro na nagnais na maging lider tulad ni Paul McCartney?…

Ayon kay Ely — “Out of control na yung business matters, e.”.. (so business pala.. siguro nga.. tulad din ng sa Beatles)

Basta, umaasa pa rin ako na magkakabalikan sila.. bow…

What a wonderful way to end a hard day’s work… A commute like hell!

We had several issues at the office today (like the Jetstar selling 22K seats! it’s a super sale) All jetstar web servers are crawling to a stop… Adam and the rest of the guys in Sydney, prepared 3 decommissioned servers to put into the web server pool… I had to configure ‘em and endorse to the Ops Team…

Anyway, got off work around 7:15pm.. jeepney ride from Ayala/Paseo to MRT was hell (parusa) hirap sumakay.. even the ladies will push you just to get in. Fine by me! :) GOod thing I’m a true blue, pure blooded gentleman.. one of the last boyscout! :)

MRT is a pain also.. Super jam-packed! Grabe, i should have taken a shot with my cell how sardine packed the train was! Got off in GMA/Kamuning station and waited for the bus to arrive… Buti nalang dumating agad!

Ang pinaka nakakainis sa lahat… Super gapang ang bus! Grabe! parang kasali sa prosisyon ng birheng maria! Hindi lang un.. pag may crowd of people, tatambay pa, ang maghihtay ng sakay! Grabe, i suppose to be home by 9:30 dapat diba? If you remember my other post of commute…

Finally got home by 10pm. Darn it! Kumain pa ko.. then nakipag kwentuhan pa kay Lois, then nkipaglaro pa ko kay Matthew.. (oo, ginising ko pa, hehehe… un lang nkakawala ng pagod ko.. ) then sinulat ko pa tong entry na to..hehehe.. mapupuyat tuloy ako… 3:30am pa ko gigising bukas..

I am a father of an 11month old baby boy (March 1, bday na nya! yey!)… first baby sa first wife.. ngek.. only wife pala.. nabasa ko dito sa kung saang blog.. (probably sa blogmates links ko,) tungkol sa inang may hinahakit… dahil mas gusto pang katabi matulog ang lola nya kaysa sa sa kanya (i pity for you) but personally natakot ako.. May 2 pamangkin kasi ako na lumaki rin sa nanay ko.. and they prefer to be with my mom, kaysa sa mommy nila..

Wag na sa pamangkin, sakin nalnag ang example…I prefer to be with my mother than my father… AYOKO.. ayokong ganito maging relationship nmin ni Matthew ko, (baby ko).. gusto ko, pag lumaki sya, kung gano sya ka close sa mommy nya, ganon din sya ka close sakin… kahit 12hrs a day ako nasa office… i will make time for my son. Ayokong lumayo ang loob nya sakin.. gusto ko ako best friend nya.

I am a commuter. I’ve been a commuter almost half of my life… (let’s do quick computation.. im 28, started commuting since 1995, i was 16 or 17… see almost half! :) - I just want to note here that’s the bus fare from Norzagaray (errr.. sta maria) to MRT North/Cubao for Del Carmen was adjusted to a more reasonable one.

Anyway,

I’m a regular passenger of jeepneys, buses and trains (LRT,MRT)… Nasaksihan ko ang unti unting pagtaas ng gasolina at syempre,ng pamasahe.. I remember when I was in high school in my old school in Norzagaray, Bulacan, 2nd year ako nun, sigurado, since i remember I was on the second floor of the building and every time we’re waiting for the next teacher to come, nakadungaw ako sa bintana, nakikita ko ung mga bus na Roval byaheng Cubao… Though then, I never thought I’ll be riding those things..

First year college, 1995,start na ng commute.. I can recall bus fare then was P15. (and jeep i think was P1.50) nice eh? Those were the days na super ok maging business or maging owner ka ng bus… Kasi everyone’s moving around, everyone’s going somewhere then. And the best part of that time is parang monopolyo ang bus business.. There was only one bus operator then - Roval Tours… And then, everyone.. well,someone, jumped in to the band wagon. The next operator sa byaheng Cubao was Erwin. For years, silang dalawa lang.. like Microsoft and Apple.. the Linux came in..

Nuestra Senora Del Carmen’s original route was Leveriza - EDSA - Malanday.. But since the whole fleet of Del Carmen Buses was coming from Sta Maria (partida), nagsasakay na sila ng pasahero from their garage to cubao.. that’s where it all started…

Mas mura kasi pamasahe ng Del Carmen vs Roval and Del Carmen are aircon buses! Wala kasi line ang Del Carmen kaya mura sila and illegal.. Nang kumuha ng line sa LTFRB ang delcarmen, that ends Roval.. They went bankrupt and nahdah.. bye bye…

Then, this whole oil price came.. naging per kilometer ung singilan ng Del Carmen.. from P30 naging P65! No choice kaming mga commuter since Del Carmen na lang ung natitirang bus operator diretso sa Cubao (or course may option to take the Divisoria bus kaya lang super bagal!! grabe! 3-4 hours uubusin)

Then the Philippine Corithian bus came into picture.. and the story now repeats itself.. This time it Phil Corinthian vs Del Carmen.. That’s P30 vs P65.. san ka pa? aircon naman sila pareho.. It’s been like that for couple of years na..

Until Del Carmen give in today! Pagsakay ko bus kanina sa delcarmen (im not choosy, which bus came first, dun ako sumasakay, wag lang ma late) P30 na lang siningil nila sakin..

Good move for Del Carmen!

Hey, remember the Fat Lady I told you about yesterday? How I said she has a lot of face, not having paid the bus fare? We’ll, today I did the same.

Yep, kahiya hiya man, at di ko alam na mangyayari hehe.. I didn’t pay mine.

Here’s the whole story. When I took the bus (North Ave. MRT station area), the bus conductor and the ticket inspector are having discussions and it’s pretty heated up. Apparently, the bus conductor missed to give one passenger a ticket according to the inspector. The conductor persists that he did.

It was like that for few minutes. Neverending discussion.. Walang masyadong sakay.. I think Munoz na di parin nagkakasundo.. Antok na antok ako dahil galing sa night shift diba? Un, so i tried to sleep.. but couldn’t (ingay eh) then, I think the conductor forgot all about me. Kaya un… But just in case he did gave a ticket, I have my fare money on my hand, ready. So, di naman ako mapapahiya… But he didn’t so lusot. That’s the story.

Also tried renewing my license. Went straight sa LTO office. Bumaba ako sa Bagbaguin, PPT gas station and went there. Paid P250 for the drug test. The guy in there, pointed me to the next step w/c is another medical. Tinamad nko, so went to my sister’s office and ask her to finish it for me.. Went home..

Tonight, my sister came home w/o my license.. kaylangan pa nga palang picturan un.. Nyakkkss!!! Oo nga pala! Well, there’s always another day… ;)

Here is me kninang umaga.. Pauwi from night shift.. I was actually trying to take a picture of the fat lady who’s sitting beside me. Ang laki nya and to think, dalawahan lang ung upuan.. hehe

I was there first, kaya alam ko nung sumakay sya at umupo… The thing is, I want to post here that the fat lady did not pay her pamasahe… Gosh, it would take a lot of face to do what she did. I mean, alam yata nung kunduktor kung sino ung di pa nagbabaya.. He keeps on walking pass her saying, “Oh, ung di pa nagbabayad dyan.. ung wala pang ticket”… But still, deadma sya. :)

Well, kahiya hiya man, isa din yang sa mga kaya ng pinoy…
