I kept on saying Vancouver when in fact it’s Burnaby, a suburb of Vancouver. I’m a homestay visitors here in Burnaby living with a very pleasant and kind family.
This is my third Saturday here. This time it’s a rainy one. We didn’t go anywhere today. We just stayed at home and… do stuff. I watched TV, movie (Never Been Kissed), read about insurance claiming, blogged about Online Translator (why? some folks here speaks french and spanish). And basically it. It’s one boring raining Saturday. Oh yeah, I just found out that Smallville (and Supernatural) are filmed or shot here.
That’s all I did.. oh yeah, one more thing… Yuoporn.
It’s time for the Google adsense earnings post again! Why? Because it’s Sunday? Why? Because I want to! Why? Because I remembered and because there’s not much to do in a homestay home… No more questions.
Remember my first week adsense earning? Yeah, it’s a little over $80.. well, better check out this week’s moolah! Performance was better, I actually got the $1/hour thing! Sometimes it’s over that! Why? well, I have had a few more than $24 see? It’s $28, it’s $27.. something like that.

Got and email from a ‘developer’ (of 12seconds.tv) today! The other day, I sent them my email address so they can, hopefully, include of their beta testers of 12seconds.tv - a twitter-like site that lets you upload a 12 seconds clip of yourself (or whatever you want).

I’m still sick but I still went to the office this morning but I had to take the rest of the day off after lunch din… My chest aches, my head spins, dizzy and the fever, it’s still there.
So, there I slept from 1pm to 4pm woke up and browsed IT job search websites (I’m not applying for a job here, Mike is. I’m just curious).
Anyway, talked to my wife and everything seems ok back home.. .I truly miss all of them specially my Lois, my Matthew and My Sean.
This is what I’m afraid of.. Being in a far far away foreign land, knowing noone and you get sick.
Well, that is what I am right now, I am Sick with cold and fever.
Though I am sick I managed to come to office today feeling cold and with a 2-ton head on top of my neck. I remember the story where Thomas got sick and he was sent home by the people there… Apparently they are afraid to get sick in there. So what thomas did was he worked from home…
Unfortunately that is not applicable to me.. Still have no VPN client installed on my laptop so I can’t work at home.
Imagine if I didn’t go to office today, I definitely missed this day’s lesson - ROOT PASSWORDS and USER CREATION! The good stuff.
Alright, I’m taking medz no and hope that tomorrow I’m a better me. Hopefully.
I’m thinking of posting my weekly Google Adsense earnings starting now, today, September 7 2008.
Why am I doing this? Pure boredom. It’s my first weekend here in Burnaby, Canada. Yesterday, Saturday we went to the Metrotown (local mall here) but now it’s a lazy Sunday, nothing to do (next week I’ll do my laundry). And because I have nothing to write! hehehe
Anyway, this is not new. I once did this a couple of times already.
Ok, so here’s my earnings on the first week of September 2008.. not much but it will do.
Today is Saturday night, September 6, 2008. 10:27pm.. currently watching “Failure to Launch” starring Matthew Makunahey (hehehe) and the gal in sex in the city. (and the people outside are being too loud for me to sleep, hehehe)
Anyway, on my other ‘official blog’, i have the same title on a post.. it is there that the major happenings was documented.. so you might as well want to check that if you’re reading this.
Today, we went to Metrotown.. saw cool products! Almost buy myself a Samsung TV! Geeszh! Saw Sector watches, guitars (gibson), Acer umpc and other stuff..
This is going to be my very first blog post here in Canada. We arrived here yesterday afternoon around 2pm September 2 (canada time/date).. Isipin mo yun, umalis kami ng September 2 at 4:45pm sa pinas, dumating kami same date at earlier pa?! hehehe Time travel my friends. :D
What am I gonna say? Don’t know where to start. I wish I can say that I wont be needing any cheap diet pills because I will be reducing here, but I’m not. :)
Like I said we got here yesterday and the landlady welcomed us and were delighted to see us. Konting chika chika and we went to bed.. jet lag..
TOday was our first day at the company. Got there around 8:00am.. 7:30, di pa naliligo si ruel.. hehehe
I’m typing this using the company provided DELL latitude D630 laptop.. ayus ba. :)
Anyway, the much awaited music event of the year will not be an event after all.. DOH apparently did not issue a permit to Marlboro/Philip Morris to continue with the eraserheads concert.
How Sad..
PS: the downside of having multiple blogs is you have to update all of em if you like the topic. :) (well, you don’t have to, but I want to)

The concert is TULoy! But unfortunately I can’t go.. Why? I love my family than Eraserheads… dang it.. better build myself dollhouses on August 30 to kill some time and to keep my mind off that biggest musical event of the year.
Hey, what do you know.. after not being active anymore on this website, they decided to make this blog, one of their Blog of the Day for August 21, 2008!
This could have been much sweeter if I’m still earning from them, which I’m not. I am pretty happy with payu2blog though. They have been really really nice.. They already paid me a couple hundred dollars for some assignments that are not so hard to talk about.
So this blog of the day stuff from fififi aint worth much for me… I did get featured to wordpress.com for being the ‘blog of the day’ twice already… that’s better.
I just hope that Wordpress allows its blogger to put in adverts… to earn a little extra so I can buy that Samsung LCD TV and a set of kitchen faucets for the missus. :)
Not many people knows this, but I’ve been doing some blogging about movies, music and money on Wordpress for some time now, a little over a year (14 months to be exact).
Since I love movies, making a blog about the movies I’ve seen is really a great idea! Plus that time, I planned of using it on some paid website.. then I found out that Wordpress.com doesn’t not allow such things.
But still I continued making post and talking about the movies that I saw.. and before I know it, it’s more than a year old! How time flies! geezh!
Anyway, on that blog I made a post about a move called “What Happens in Vegas” starring Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher. Also mention there that if you’re doing Las Vegas travelling, you’ll see on that movie what you’ll find.
