I once again saw the film “Somewhere In Time” tonight, starring Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour… Not one of my favorite film, but I like it very much. Who would forget that theme song! aahhhh.. so sad…
Another time traveling film with a romantic touch… Still feels sad… Everything was perfect except that stupid 1979 coin!!!

This is about Thursday… March 8… Nelson, my brother boarded the plane to New York around 11:00am today. He sent and SMS saying that he’ll probably be there 9:00am Philippine time tomorrow morning… Di na nagpahatid eh. Si allyson (or Alli)ang kasama nya.

Nagpacheckup din kami ni Matthew today… Me for my thyroid and him for his chicken pox vaccination.. Here’s Matthew while waiting for his turn to be called.

Went to the office around 2pm for the Storage training. Like I said a few post back, Unix will be given a few Storage task. Those common page they receive from OC-DBA or the automatic alert from DFM will now be attended by the those good looking guys in OC-UNIX… :)

Today also, I was supposed to meet my other 2 brother in Glorietta… Dennis (the youngest) is supposed to give me the money from my mom for the month of March.. and Nel, is suppose to give me the ATM/account where we will deposit the computer shop money…. Wasn’t able to meet neither. 2pm nako dumating..kala ko 1:30pm eh.. 11:am pa naman ako umalis ng bahay..

Anyway, in the 18th floor of the PhilamLife tower, Sir Greg Dube taught us some theories about NetApp and some explain some terms associated with the filer.. like aggregates, volumes, qtrees, luns etc… He was good! Everything stuck to mind… :) It took us couple of hours before we wrap it up. Dinner time! :)

Network and Unix team had dinner with Mitch and Greg, the network and unix/storage managers respectively. We ate at some seafood restaurant, I forgot the name, but it’s in Greenbelt 3, 3rd floor beside the Sports Grill something.. :)

I ordered the Seafood Platters One… What a serving! Buong kawali (literally) binigay sakin.. It has (very) large fries, prawns, fish meat, and grilled calamares! Tasty!

March 5, 2007… Rest day ko dapat, but I have to go to the office to meet up with the boss’s boss’ boss… (?) Tama b?.. :)

We had the round table discussion over coffee.. talked about work and things related to work.. :)

Note to self:… need to take up public speaking … God i hate myself when I talk in groups!

Yesterday also, almost lost my watch! Shet! Kay tatay pa nman to! Buti nalang nakita ulit… kakapgod talaga kagabi.. drain ako! That night, I should be sleeping like a log…

Today…. Tao lang sa shop… ganon pa rin… di bubuhay ng pamilya… hehehe…

Jon and Rachel called me here today, informing me of the meeting tomorrow (rest day ko din) with the big boss of IT, Mr. Greg Dube. Unix team will be given some Storage task to further support the production. I like it!

Also today, my immediate boss, Jay, called…(pansin ko lang puro boss ah! di ba ako boss?! hindi nga pala..hmp! :)… informing me of something else.. wish I could say it here.. but I can’t.. :D

Death is inevitable…

Di ko maalala kung kailan unang pumasok sa isip ko na lahat ng tao ay papanaw. Batang bata pa siguro ako. Dami kong tanong noon na tanong ko pa rin ngayon.

Ano kayang pakiramdam ng patay? (sawang sawa na nanay ko sa tanong na yan, lagi nyang sinasabi.. ‘E di wala! Patay na nga eh.. ano pa mararamdaman nun?’)… Mahirap ipaliwanag eh, iba ung ibig kong sabihin.. Alam kaya ng mga namatay na patay na sya? Parang natutulog lang kaya? Pakiramdam kaya nila nananaginip sila? Kilala pa kaya nya ung mga pamilya nya? Parang si Sam nung namatay sya? Di ba kilala pa rin nya si Molly? (Si Sam po at si Molly ang bida sa pelikulang Ghost) Ung isip nya eh ung isip pa rin nya (?) Nandun pa rin lahat ng memory… Basta yun un.. hirap explain.. :)

Nanggaling kasi ako sa San Juan kagabi. Dumalaw ako sa classmate ko nung collage. Pumanaw kasi ung tatay nya. Nakiramay lang ako. Kaya naisip ko na naman tong mga tanong kong wla namang sagot.

Deepest condolences to P. Ramirez and his family.

Yesterday we celebrated Matthew’s birthday! It was an all family event… Not that big, tulad ng sabi ko before… But the important thing is we celebrated and that we have something to show Matthew when he’s all grown up. (im trying to convince myself)

So anyway, (… nay, tay..) here are some pictures from yesterday…

First Picture. This was taken right after he woke up. Bagong gising kaming lahat.. Parang alam nga ni Matthew na birthday nyo that day eh.. sigla sigla, .. nagmamadali pa bumaba sa kama..

Next one, nung umaga ring iyon. Nagkakape yata ako nito… Cute cute nya sa pic na ito eh.. If you notice, naka crop sya.. ang pangit ko jan, nag make face kasi ako, papatawa.. eh cute si matthew, sayang naman, kaya di ko na delete. :)

The birthday cake… syempre, kahit rush na rush at walang mabili.. there has to be a cake…

Nahuli ko lang tong shot na to… My brother Dennis was handing over his gift to Matthew.. Si matmat naman, nakatingin lang..heheh..di pa naiintindihan eh.. (the shirt btw was my sister’s gift and the balloon from Nel)

Nang umalis na ang mga bisita, here we are.. mag uutol (with isang pinsan). From left to right, we are.. Kuya Rommel (bayaw), Nelson (sumunod sakin- he’s the one going to New York on the 8th), Si Ate (maricon), Ate Yolly (pinsan), Lois (the wife), and Dennis (bunso)… where’s me?! ah ok… :)
